Spring Fair features Motorsport Mayhem and Cirque Ma'Ceo Equestrian Stunt Show

Puyallup, WA –Feb. 22, 2018 – Motorsport Mayhem, presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, is returning to the Washington State Spring Fair in Puyallup, April 20-22, 2018.The newest attraction is the Cirque Ma’Ceo Equestrian Stunt Show April 20-22, 2018 and is sure to delight. Tickets for both events go on sale Thursday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.

Motorsport Mayhem:

The Monster Truck Show is slated for Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. Slamfest Demolition Derby is Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. with “chain and go” rules, and a fireworks show following both performances. The Sunday, April 22 Slamfest kicks off at 4 p.m., and features the third annual boat bash, with large cars dragging boats.

These are separate ticketed events, though advance purchase tickets include Spring Fair admission, a $12 value. All seats are reserved, and the Grandstand opens one hour prior to showtime. Each event is held rain or shine. To purchase Monster Truck or Slamfest tickets online, visit:

Tickets purchased on site will be charged a $3 per ticket service fee.

Monster Truck Rides:  Kids of all ages can enjoy taking a ride on a tricked-out monster truck Friday, April 20, 2 – 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 21, 10 – 5 p.m. for $8 (cash) per ride.

There will be a free Pit Party Friday, 4 - 6 p.m., where Monster Truck show ticket holders can see the trucks up close and meet the drivers.

Slamfest Demolition Derby

Slamfest Demolition Derby is produced by Evergreen Speedway/High Road Promotions. The Saturday derby is classified “Chain and Go,” and  includes Figure 8s, the Derby Heat Races and Slamfest (the last car standing wins). It concludes with a fireworks show. The Sunday derby features the third annual boat bash, with large cars dragging the boats. A free pit party for Slamfest ticket holders follows the Sunday show.

Cirque Ma’Ceo Equestrian Stunt Show:

Step back in time and experience the enchanting world of Ma’Ceo. As a break from today’s world of frills and technology, the world of Ma’Ceo takes people back to the roots of gypsy heritage. Let the swirling winds of passion transcend you as the age old fellowship between man and horse is brought back to life and awaits you with open arms.

This is a separate ticketed event, available online and on-site. The show will be located in the Paulhamus Arena on the Northside. Shows will take place April 20- April 22, 2018 at 3 and 6 p.m. Each show will last 45-50 minutes. The Spring Fair in Puyallup offers fun for all ages and interests, including Swifty Swine Pig Races, Northwest Living & Garden, presented by Mattress Firm, free entertainment, DockDogs, the Northwest Junior Livestock Show and Sale, nearly 350 exhibits, food, rides, and much more. Kids, ages 18 and under, can enjoy free gate admission 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. Thursday, April 19. Non-perishable donations are recommended for the Puyallup Food Bank’s food drive throughout the day on Thursday. Military Appreciation Day, presented by KVI 570 AM and KOMO News Radio 1000AM/97.7 FM will be on Friday, April 20 with free gate admission to active, reserve, retired military and their dependents with valid military ID.

Discount gate tickets are available March 23 to April 22 at select South Sound locations:  Safeway, Albertson’s, Fred Meyer and South Hill Mall for $10 (adults), and $8 (students 6-18 years).

Adult gate tickets are $12 at the gate, and Students (ages 6-18) are $10 at the gate. Children ages five and under are free. Parking is free on weekdays and $10 on weekends. Hours are Thursday (4/19) 2 - 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday (4/20-4/21) 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; and Sunday (4/22) 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The Washington State Fair is one of the biggest fairs in the world, and the largest in the Pacific Northwest.
