Honoring Cultural Diversity Celebration

Join the Puyallup School District for the 14th annual Diversity Celebration. This district-wide program is an anti-hate campaign that is integrated into student curriculum. Students participate by creating art or writings centered around the core message of this campaign. See exciting multi-cultural performances April 13 on the Coca-Cola Stage and drop by their exhibit in Hobby Hall as students showcase and discuss their works. 

Performance Schedule

• 10 am - 11 am: Sin Embargo, Latin and Cuban Jazz Band
• 11 am - 11:30 am: Puyallup Canoe Family, Native American Drummers / Singers
• 11:30 am - 12:05 pm: B-Boys Fraggle Rock Crew, Hip Hop
• 12:10 pm - 1 pm: Gomez & Stroutsos, Flute & Percussion World Music
• 1 pm - 1:30 pm: Ballet Folklorico de Tacoma, Hispanic Dancers
• 1:30 pm - 2:05 pm: Lanuola Samoan Dancers/Drummers, Samoan Dancers/Drummers
• 2:10 pm - 3 pm: Banshie Irish Duet, Irish Band
• 3:10 pm - 3:30 pm: Ballet Folklorico de Tacoma, Hispanic Dancers
• 3:30 pm - 4:20 pm: Maya Soleil, West & South Africa Music/Dance
• 4:20 pm - 4:50 pm: Gary Stroutsos, Native Flute Soloist
• 4:50 pm - 5:30 pm: Pierce College Taiko Drummers, Japanese Drummers/Dancers
