Miniature Horses

The Miniature Horse Breed located in Barn M with demonstrations being held in Arena L - Town and Country 2 can trace its origins back as far as the Middle Ages, when they were popular as parlor pets for royalty. Today, Miniature Horses are used to drive, show (halter, jumping, obstacles), as therapy animals, and as pets. Miniature horses require about 1/3 the feed and housing of a full-size horse, and with their quiet temperaments and small size, they are easily handled by children and elderly or handicapped adults.
